tp: cleanup diff test script in preperation for unified execution

This CL does the following:
1. Makes all the actual running code use fully absolute paths so we can
directly read the trace/query without needing to worry about relative
paths.
2. Removes args as input which allows us to change args without
affecting the running code.

Perfetto - Performance instrumentation and tracing

Perfetto is an open-source project for performance instrumentation and tracing of Linux/Android/Chrome platforms and user-space apps.
